I usually love Christmas music. This year I am struggling with it. At work, it makes me agitated and annoys me. Sad, huh? Well I have come to realize that whoever picks the music at smith's is terrible at it. The Christmas songs they play have got to be the worst, most annoying versions out there. I listen to the same versions of Jingle Jingle Jingle Jingle Jingle bells and I Wonder as I Wander and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause at least 4 times EVERY shift. I wish I could help them pick out the songs... there are so many better versions out there!
I've struggled with the whole "Christmas Spirit" thing this year too, I don't like it because Christmas is such a happy time. I agree, the right version of the song makes all the difference, sorry you have to listen to the bad versions all day at work.
ReplyDeletenext christmas, i look out for an invisible ear piece that hooks up to your iPod wirelessly. that way you can focus on your that ear piece and your customer. that means both of your ears will be occupied and you will not even be able to hear the annoying songs!
