Oh, that'll be easy...

revenues, expenses, paid on account, accounts recievable? what? is all of this supposed to make sense to me? I took accounting to see if i wanted to major in it, and what a week i have had. monday i was so frustrated by the time class was over that i wanted to give up on accounting. today i had an exam... i have to maintain good grades for my scholarship, so i was really worried about it. any amount of time this week that i haven't had classes, work, or other assignments due, has been devoted to learning accounting. i have done practice problems until my head hurts. but finally! last night, at about 5:00 i had a breakthrough! it all clicked! lucky for me! i feel pretty good about the exam.

All through high school, i had it easy. subjects came easy, i never had to study for exams, not even my ap tests, so college was like a crash course, i still don't have to study as much as others, but i was not prepared for 7 hours of straight accounting these last few days... hopefully i can learn from this! I DO actually need to read my textbooks... it helps. :)

I love when the "breakthrough" moments finally come, it almost makes the studying, frustration, etc. worth it! Keep working at it, you're so smart you'll get it but somethings do take time. Good luck on your test!

I was wondering when you would have a class that would give you this challenge. I think it is good in school to have things challenge you. If you never get challenged you never really learn anything. Pushing yourself in school will help a lot when you get out in the real world. (I learned that on my internship this summer.)
