Josh

This is my cousin Josh. Josh is 2 years old. He lives in Flagstaff Arizona with his family, so I haven't seen him since he was a baby. Last night we went to my grandma's house and he was being shy as can be. (You can probably tell in the pic). He was sitting on his dad's lap and everyone was trying to get him to come sit with them. I kind of just sat tight for a while because I don't like to be the obnoxious cousin that has to have the attention of the kids all the time.

After a while, I said, "Josh, come sit by me," and I patted the seat next to me. Much to my surprise, he got off daddy's lap and not only came to sit by me, but hopped right up into my lap. It was so cute, and it totally made my wonderful day even better.

He was my buddy for the rest of the night. He even cried when they put him in his high chair for ice cream time because he wanted to remain on my lap. He held my hand when we went downstairs to find a toy, and hid behind me when scary Uncle Craig was trying to show him how the fire engine works.

At the end of the night, he gave me a great big hug goodbye. I loved it. :D
