Mixed Feelings

Wow, I'm moving home in just two days... that is weird. this year has completely flown by. It seems like I was just moving into old farm, but then again, it seems so far away. So many things have happened and changed. I've declared a major, and i'm getting closer and closer to being done. It seems so weird to me that i've gotten 2 years of college under my belt. It's like i'm not quite old enough for that yet.

I am having mixed feelings because I can't wait to move home! I get to have my own room again, (not that i didn't love sharing it with chels), work with and spend tons of time with manda! see my parents everyday, and be closer to my brothers and sisters in law and nephew and almost nephew to be. Have tons of fun over the summer with old and new friends and playing volleyball with the YSA. NOT HAVING SCHOOL!! But then I look back at all the good times i've had this year. Meeting my new roommate Brit. Becoming friends with her. Going on dates and meeting other new friends like the girls from X3 and my good friend Caitlin! taking a volleyball course and meeting some great players who i can play with competitively. playing intramurals with some of those players, winning that intramural tourney, and going every tuesday and thursday to play with a highly competitive group! getting my knees and hips bruised from it :) Watching movies at midnight with my friends, building forts, and going out to Tummy Yummi's for a treat. I've gained and lost a few relationships, and had a lot of hearbreak. I got a guitar! and i'm learning how to play it, slowly but surely :)

There are so many other things that i'm excited for and also many good memories that i'll miss, but i just keep having conflicting feelings of excitement and remorse and apprehension. It's kind of infuriating, but great at the same time, weird i know :)

side note: one final left! yay, wish me luck, i hope my head doesn't explode first.

Fun Megan! It’s exciting that you want to live at home. A lot of girls your age aren’t happy being at home under parents rules. I think you are wonderful!

I'm glad we got to have a sleepover before the school year was over.

Britt really loves you guys, you're much much better than her last roommates. She's going to miss you.

Oh and good luck on your last final!

I get mixed feelings about a lot of things in life too but the most important thing to remember is to just have fun. You'll have a blast at home this summer.

i like how my sister beat me to comment on your blog. sorry i'm a slacker. :P but she's absolutely right. you beat my last roomies more than 10 fold. you beat them like eggs. :D i understand the whole mixed feelings thing, although i have to say i'm less excited than "remorse"ful (btw, nice word). miss you.
