Youthful Food

Lately I have been enjoying making all of the recipes my mom used to make that I loved as a kid.

The first thing I made was Hot Dogs, Potatoes and Cheese, also popularly known as potato boats! I love this. It's such a simple recipe, and yet, so TASTY!

The second thing was Ham and Noodle Casserole. It's just cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, noodles and ham! all mixed together and microwaved. Delicious!

Do you remember the toast with butter and strawberry nesquik? yeah, made that tonight. It was FANTASTIC :D It really is delicious, and not just my kid mind remembering it.

I can't wait to try some more of my childhood recipes, they are great!

Yum! Potato boats are totally delicious! It stinks that when I make them at our house, I have to keep in mind that I have to make something else for Adam, you know how he is!

i love stuff like that! and it's cool when there are things that your mom made for you that you can't get anywhere else. that's what makes them special. like banana and miracle whip sandwiches when i was growing up! ha ha, i love it :D
