Since today is thanksgiving day, I thought I would take a moment to say a few of the things that I am grateful for.
First, I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latterday saints. What a great time we live in, to be able to see the gospel rolling forth through all the earth! It has a huge part of my life, and I love it. What a blessing to know that I can be with my family for all eternity, and that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me so much! I can see God's hand in my life everyday.
I am also so grateful for my family. They are the people that I would rather spend my time with than anyone else! We always have so much fun together, and there's so much love in our family. I think I was blessed with the best family ever!
Friends are a great blessing in my life. Although living with my friends comes with some challenges, I still love them so much. I also have so many friends that are amazing, outside of those I live with. I work with some, have met some new ones, and reaquainted with old ones.
This may be something that a lot of people might not think of, but I am grateful to be going to college and that I have a job. First, it is such a blessing to be able to further my education and learn new things everyday. Second, my job gives me an escape from the everyday, even though I complain about, it keeps me in a routine, and helps me concentrate. It also helps me be independant, so that i can pay for my own things.
Well, this post could go on and on, but these are a few of the things that I am the most grateful for! I love this time of the year. When some people get caught up with the presents and the feasts, I love to concentrate on family, my blessings, and Christ. I love the holidays! (except that I work retail... lol).
I tell you what I am thankful for. I am thankful for a wonderful daughter, that somehow seems much more grown up, mature, and wonderfully well grounded. Megan, you are an absolute blessing from the Lord and we love you so much. Thanks for sharing these thoughts with us on this day.
